My computer tells me occasionally "flesh will no longer be supported after December 2020". Does this disable the MP3 files on Scientolipedia? The files, for example by Joan de Veulle - England 50s 60s and Norman Phillips form an important part of the record of Scientology. Best wishes Antony
Is it a message from your computer's operating system or is it coming from the scientolipedia software?
From my computer software – Windows 10 (I guess). It only occurs occasionally.
It won't affect MP3 audio, I don't think, but any videos using Flash (like Youtube videos) probably won't play on your computer if you don't have Flash installed and working on your local computer.
This site has some Great Stuff! I got 93Gigs including all the printed material, about 90% of the total available and then my torrent apps stopped working. I've tried Transmission, BitLord, uTorrent and Vuze. I got a VPN and set up port forwarding eventually to try that, but it doesn't work now. I got the first 90% without much hacking around and trying all kinds of different settings. But things just got jammed up. Has my ISP caught up with me? Is OSA watching us here? Do I have some kind of GPM blocking me from getting the last 10%? Has the torrent world been collapsed by the evil chaos mongers?
Thanks for any help. I hope to share the entire collection from my desktop.
The torrents are being de-bugged and will post here when they are fixed. Thanks for reporting!
Thanks for the response. So it's not a problem with my setup and config files? There is a problem with the torrents? That's a relief. I thought I was going stupid. I still have questions on the best setup and options. I'm new to torrents. I'm considering signing up for a seedbed to share the torrents with the world. I have had great wins listening to lectures and following along in the transcripts. It's ALL there!!
Tracker Status: Tracker: [DHT search unsuccessful.]
I have subscribed to a seedbed: seedbed.io. Every time I tried to start a torrent from the Scientolipedia materials page I get the above error. Are all the "magnet" urls pointing to a bogus server?
David,
I have a ticket open with the vendor of the seedbed I am subscribed to. He says the NL data center has seen this problem before with openbittorrent, but the DC on France does not. I can set and torrent the dickens out of other DLs using other trackers, including some Scn material. Could it be that OSA has gotten to openbittorent?

I don't know how that previous message got garbled, it should read like this:

If you have a specific file that is not downloading, email the name of the file to info@scientolipedia.org and we'll send you a torrent file to use.
FYI, we're I/P testing a new system for these and your help will be appreciated. Thx
I can't seem to get the science of survival lecture series. I have a seedbed going now at seedbed.io but I don't know how to share the files. I'm also fetching and seeding from my desktop thru a VPN but I still don't quite get how this whold process works. Looks like I need to upload a dot-torrent file to one of the many public torrent sites where people will search for and find the connection to my seedbed. Let me know how I can help. I just retired from my WOG job and have plenty of time to promote the tech.
I thought that under Admin links on my logged in menu, item general, logs, I would see all the latest changes et cetera in Scientolipedia. This gave me a problem with Roger Boswarva when he stated in email that he had made a login and succeed in posting something, neither of which were on that list, so I assumed he had failed. Where should I have looked?
Automatic email notification about changes to your watchlist is set to 'true'. If this annoys you, you can change the setting in your 'Preferences' (upper right - at bottom of first page there)
You can also "unwatch" the page by finding the gold star icon at the top (near to the search box) and change the setting for that page.
FYI, the watchlist is a list of pages you have edited or ones you have designated you want to "watch" via the star icon you'll see close to the search box in the current default skin.
Was not able to connect my auditor profile to show up on MAPS
You are showing up on the regional "E North America" map but not the global for some reason. Probably related to the site upgrade which I am still finding little glitches for. Will try to sort out with the next upgrade due soon.
BTW, I changed your geo code to reflect Pueblo Co instead of Texas thinking maybe the geo code was wrong plus the fact you have the Colo location on your page, but that just moved your pin to Colo and didn't fix the issue of it not displaying on the global map.
Thanks!

Yesterday, I signed up and my password works, but I cannot find my bio on the website AND I am wondering how to put my info up as an auditor.
Also, I didn't receive an email when I signed up if I was suppose to receive one.
HELP.
Bruce
Hi David, A friend saw my posting on Scientolipedia and by golly, it still says I am a Class XII C/S, which I am not. I missed that one yesterday being so happy it all got transferred from Free&Able.
Could you please replace that with Class IX as we have discussed? Thanks. Greta
If a File (Picture) already exists on the server or has been uploaded previously to the site, you DO NOT use the "upload file" blue highlight in the "image" field. It will jam up if you try. REASON: it already exists on this computer and the little program that is trying to upload pictures gets confused when you ask it to re-do this action.
Solution: go to a page where you have used the file previously, copy or note the file name and put that file-name in the "image" field of the new Form. Don't try to re-upload it a second or third time. Likewise, if you want to reuse a picture in the text area of an article, a picture that has previously been uploaded to the site, simply follow these easy steps as laid out in the FAQ's.
FYI, when you upload a file, you are just copying it from your home computer to this one. Trying to do that a second time is like trying to get two objects to occupy the same space at the same time. :-(
