Key to Life

In 1988, when I was in training at FLAG, roughly mid February of that year, there were 40 or so Technical Training Corps students across the hall from our Pro TR's course rooms in the since restored Clearwater Bank Building. They were all Sea Org, and were on full time study on KTL course. When they completed KTL they would receive a pin, three or so inches long to put on their collar, in the shape of the old fashioned key shape. This would signify completion of the KTL and their recognition by others to have an impeccable duplication of things communicated. Just a little background on it's use prior to release on the Flag Land Base and that era.

At the time it was a top secret pilot course.
